This Wedding at Lake Oak Meadows was EVERYTHING
Recently, the team and I had the honor of capturing the beautiful wedding of Alvin and Janize. The lovely couple tied the knot at the stunning venue: Lake Oak Meadows (one of my favorites in SoCal). Located in the heart of Temecula's gorgeous wine country, Lake Oak Meadows is only a short drive from San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles counties. This beautiful wedding venue offers a private lakeside ceremony as well as reception sites with luscious trees, grand fountains, and roses everywhere. From a country rustic feel, a chic vintage look, or a ranch style wedding, this is the perfect venue to create your dream wedding. Not to mention, I love how it is picturesque in every corner - perfect for capturing your wedding memories in the most beautiful way!

Getting Ready for the Big "I do's"
The Wedding day started with the Bride and Groom getting ready in separate rooms, surrounded by their closest friends and family. I captured some wedding details, candid moments of them as they prepared for their big day, as well as some gorgeous portraits of them having the best time getting all dolled up. Janize looked absolutely stunning in her lace mermaid gown. Plus, Alvin looked incredibly handsome in his suit and tie. I especially loved his watch and extra shiny shoes! Also, love how Alvin made sure his shoes were extra shiny for this special occasion.
The Bride & Bridesmaids Prep
Ladies first, of course. Janize, the beautiful bride, and her bridesmaids were filled with love and joy as they prepared for this momentous occasion. There's really nothing better than getting ready with your best girl friends. Truly bestie goals! Isn't their group picture just the cutest? I love how you can see the excitement on all their facial expressions. Such a great start to wonderful wedding day!
The Grooms & Groomsmen Prep
Now, the gentlemen are often overlooked while they prepare for the wedding festivities... but, not this time! Alvin and his groomsmen were pumped up and ready to get the day started. They had such a memorable time getting ready. I love the line-up they created to help each other adjust their ties - such a wholesome moment. What true friends they are! And, how awesome is Alvin with his cool watch and shiny shoes!? Next, the romantic first look!
An Intimate First Look with the Bride & Groom
Before standing in front of their loved ones, Alvin and Janize shared an intimate and private first look. We were able to capture this special moment from quite far away with the help of our handy telephoto lens that can capture great detail from a long distance. Being able to capture an intimate interaction, like this first look, without being an intrusion makes this wedding memory even more special.
Lakeside Wedding Ceremony Details
The backdrop of this lakeside wedding ceremony was absolutely stunning. From the picturesque lake, vivid greenery everywhere, and gorgeous floral designs - everything was perfect! Even the weather was perfect, with a nice gentle breeze and a warm sun. A big shout out to the stunning floral designs by New Creation Floral, they added such a beautiful touch of elegance.
Wedding Ceremony Memories
The moment we have all been waiting for... The big "I DO's"! The lovely couple exchanged heartfelt vows before officially tying the knot. It was beautiful to see how happy their friends and family were to see these two become one. Witnessing true love is such a gift and I am so honored to capture memories filled with love! I love the way Alvin looks at Janize as she walks down the aisle. And their excited faces at the end of the ceremony really says it all. Cheers to the newly weds!
Post-Wedding Ceremony Moments
Prepare yourself for some AWESOME wedding photos. I am quite literally obsessed with how lovely their gallery of wedding photos turned out. The way they all look amazing, the happy faces, the stunning backdrop of Lake Oak Meadows - everything was PERFECT.
Wedding Party Goals
After the wedding ceremony, the couple and their wedding party took some time to explore the venue and capture more photos. We found some amazing spots along with picture perfect lighting as the cherry on top. The light was soft and golden, creating a dreamy atmosphere and a touch of romance. Everyone looked beautiful and I love how Alvin and Janize's love for each other was evident in every shot. Looks like these wedding party photos could be on Vogue with the way everyone is able to model so well! Truly a legendary wedding party.
Bride Squad Goals
I've said it once before and I'll say it again. This venue, the lighting, and the love and bond between the bridal party gals are GOALS. There's really nothing much better than having your best friends by your side on your wedding day. The beautiful Bride, Janize and her girls looked magnificent and were like models so natural in front of the camera. Plus, the stunning floral designs by New Creation Floral were a beautiful touch of elegance to their looks.
Here Come the Groomsmen
You cannot deny that the Groom and his groomsmen definitely have swag. Seriously, how do they look so cool and effortless in these photos? It was awesome seeing their close bond and all the fun they were having capturing these memories. This is your reminder to capture photos with ALL your loved ones on your wedding day, especially your best bro's!
Romantic Bride & Groom Portraits
These lovely newly weds' love for one another is extra special. You can really see and feel their love through each and every photo. Of course, we had to capture some romantic photos with the Bride's veil. It is very important to remember that portraits of the Bride and Groom are ESSENTIAL to a wedding gallery. These wedding portraits will forever showcase the special love they share and the great emotions they felt on this important day. After a fun time capturing romantic moments between the newly weds, it was time for the wedding reception!
A Wedding Reception to Remember
Lake Oak Meadows is hands down one of Temecula's BEST outdoor wedding reception venues in wine country. As you can see from these reception photos, it is a magical and enchanting setting to celebrate your marriage. From the beautiful florals by New Creation Floral, to the romantic warm string lights and impressive fountains, the whole reception site is stunning!
Lake Oak Meadows Wedding Reception Details
The wedding reception was situated in the center of the winery, surrounded by luscious trees and gorgeous roses. The tables were set with white linens and gold details, adorned with centerpieces of beautiful flowers. The wedding cake by 1914 Bakery was a two-tiered masterpiece, covered with white frosting and gold detail. The guests enjoyed a fun cocktail hour in this beautiful reception area as the wedding party captured photos around the venue. Here are some photos of the reception details, before the parents, wedding party, and newly weds made their grand entrance.
Parents' Grand Entrance
Look at all that energy from Alvin and Janize's parents as they make their GRAND entrance! You can tell they are thrilled to celebrate this marriage. Loving their excitement!
Wedding Party Grand Entrance + Newly Wed's First Dance
After capturing some beautiful photos of the newly weds as well as group photos of the wedding party, it was finally time for the wedding reception. Alvin and Janize really know how to start a party! Plus, the bridesmaids and groomsmen cheered on the newly weds with so much excitement as they entered the reception. The wedding party was truly the ultimate hype group. Everyone deserves a wedding party as hype and fun as this one! Right after this GRAND entrance, the Bride and Groom went straight to their romantic first dance. Their moves were on point! From the twirls to the dips and kisses, their first dance was full of beautiful moments.
Parents Dance
Following their romantic first dance as newly weds, Alvin and Janize shared a beautiful dance with their parents. It is always so wholesome to see parents dance with their newly married child. You can tell they all had such a fun time dancing together. I love it!
Wedding Reception Highlights at Lake Oak Meadows
The real fun began as the sun went down and the romantic lighting turned on. The guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, followed by touching speeches, fun group games, wedding cake cutting, a bouquet toss, and of course, dancing. It is pretty impossible for me to pick a favorite photo. I love the dancing action shots or the newly wed portraits by the fountain might have to be my pick. Such an unforgettable night of celebrations and love. You can tell everyone was having fun the whole night!
Night Portraits with the Bride & Groom
Before the wedding reception ended, we had to capture a few more romantic photos of the Bride and Groom by the lake again. How could one not want to capture photos by the lake at night?! From day to night, this lakeside area at Lake Oak Meadows is a stunning spot to capture all of the venue's beautiful atmosphere. Perhaps my favorite spot for pictures here. Plus, I love how they have warm lighting everywhere - it adds a gorgeous romantic touch! One of the reasons why I love Lake Oak Meadows is because this wedding location is truly beautiful day and night.
