Graduating from college is a monumental milestone, and what better way to celebrate than with a photoshoot at the stunning UC San Diego campus and the nearby beach during golden hour? 🌅
We started our grad session at an iconic landmark of UCSD, the Geisel Library. The graduate, Sydney, with her cap, sash, and gown, posed proudly with the unique architecture adding a touch of grandeur to the photos. She also brought a bouquet of white roses, which matched her dressed perfectly. The lush greenery and dreamy lighting provided the perfect setting for beautiful grad portraits. As the sun began to set, we headed for the beach (one of my favorite photoshoot locations). The golden hour light was simply magical, casting a warm glow that made every shot look ethereal. Under the pier, the mix of light and shadows made for a beautiful composition. The pier created leading lines and framing to highlight Sydney in the middle. I am obsessed with how these sunset photos turned out!
I had a blast capturing this USCD graduation photoshoot. From tossing caps in the air to group hugs and individual portraits, every moment was filled with emotion, pride, and celebration. The campus was the perfect place to show off school pride. While the beach provided a relaxed and fun environment for the most magical golden hour photos. It was a beautiful blend of academic pride and coastal California beauty.
